A large plate covered with a layer of semi-transparent quartz/chalcedony, which takes its gray color from the underlying matrix.
Numerous greenish-yellow hemispheres of fluorite are embedded in this layer.
Some of them are quite large (max. 22 mm) and stand out clearly.
They almost look like jellyfish hats sailing in the water!
Fluorite is a common mineral, but if crystallized in a spherical form is quite rare
It is a sample intended for an important collection !
