This lot it's a great occasion for taking an antique 4/4 violin F Breton Brevete a Mirecourt violin with a beautiful one-piece back.
With its bright, sweet sound in the high range, this antique French Breton violin, from the famous town of Mirecourt, renowned for its violin making, is particularly recommended for adult musicians who know how to shape and appreciate the instrument's sound. Built in 1900 according to a proven model, this very well-preserved violin, crafted in an unknown workshop in Mirecourt, is both a typical and particularly valuable Mirecourt work. The beautiful clear varnish is a light golden colour; it shows a light patina and some signs of wear and use, not unusual for a violin of this age that was obviously played with pleasure.
The Breton label is inside and “Breton” is stamped on the neck button. The violin is in very good condition.
The instrument has lenght of 35,7 cm (4/4) and is in ready to play condition with professional setup.
New Cannone Larsen strings mounted.
It is perfect in every part, without defects or breaks.
Just some sign of antiquity that gives to the violin fashinating beauty.
There is also an antique hard case for safe shipment.
