Rare Japanese traditional Bugaku mask - Chikyū地久.
Chiku is danced by four or six people. It is a celebratory piece celebrating the end of the reign of Emperor Akihito and the end of the reign of Emperor Chiku, which has been performed in Japan since the mid-Heian period, around the 11th century, and is often performed after a piece called Banzairaku. Two of the three masks handed down to the Amano Shrine have the inscription "Four Chiku Masks," indicating that there were originally four masks.
