Remember the Matoran alphabet? Each krana variant had his own set of 3 letters on the back forehead of it, the first 8 letters of the 8 variants (Xa, Ca, Vu, Za, Bo, Yo, Ja, Su) forming an acrostic of BIONICLE. The 3 letters of the regular krana Xa variant are BMR, as the first krana of the acrostic. The 3 letters of the prototype krana Xa are KIN, most probably as KINematics, a well-known technical indicator of pre-production engineered parts, additional proof of its prototype beeing. Collector's Note: The back of this krana prototype is its most impressive side, and this is why it is the one to be exposed! In addition to this amazing and outstanding KIN / BMR variation, you will also see all below differences: -The 3 Matoran alphabet letters on the forehead, being different, are also a little bigger on the prototype -The eyes are much better finished on the prototype, more rough on the regular model -The reference numbers on the cheeks are switched (left/right and right/left) -Single cavity test mold marking 01-1 instead of 01-8 -The pin is full on the prototype -The "(c)" sign under the pin is not present on the prototype -There are visible mold markers on the prototype -The ears are more rough on the prototype, which is also visible on the front And last but not least, the colors on the prototype have a slightly more intense tone, which confirms the pre-production nature of this very rare item Please note that shipping will be fully insured.
