This was one of Seiko's flagship luxury models in the 1960s, featuring an incredibly high jewel count of 39 jewels for maximum precision and durability. Key Details: • Model: Seikomatic Self Dater • Reference: J13.083 • Movement: Caliber 395 Automatic, 39 Jewels (Diashock) • Case: 260 Microns Gold Cap (much thicker and more premium than standard plating) • Case Back: Features the rare "Dolphin" and Crown logo medallion • Size: Approx 37mm-38mm (classic vintage dress watch size) • Dial: Sunburst silver dial with applied gold-tone indices Condition: The watch is in lovely vintage condition. The dial has a beautiful light patina. The gold cap on the case remains thick with no significant "rub-through" to the base metal. The case back engravings are still clearly visible.
