A charming set of four Chinese porcelain pieces from the Kangxi period (1662–1722), later decorated in the Netherlands in the so-called Amsterdam Bont style. The set consists of two larger bowls and two smaller bowls (cups), all four identically decorated with floral motifs and landscape scenes within cartouches. The vibrant overglaze enamels, applied in the Netherlands over the original blue and white porcelain, create a lively and highly decorative appearance typical of 18th-century Amsterdam Bont ware. A cohesive and attractive ensemble, rarely found together in matching decoration.
