Kan'ei Tsuho (寛永通宝) Edo period, 17th-19th century ◆Kan'ei Tsuho (寛永通宝) Number of coins: 156 Kan'ei Tsuho (寛永通宝, formerly 寬永通󠄁寶) is a coin that circulated widely throughout the Edo period in Japan. They were first minted in 1636 and continued to be minted until the end of the Edo period. They were circular in shape with a square hole punched in the center (round hole) and the words “Kan'ei Tsuho” engraved on the surface in the order of top, bottom, right and left. In addition to copper, some were made of iron, refined iron and brass. There are some rust and dirt, but it's in relatively good condition.. Some are now more than 300 years old. However, they were carefully preserved in files, which is why they are in good condition. The old of use is so beautiful and wonderful. Carefully packaged and shipped from Japan to overseas.
