A small handmade art silk on cotton Kashmir rug. This rug depicts a four season tiled classic tree of life and paradise scene motif, each scene within each tile is in a mihrab niche. This rug depicts many cypress trees in a garden of Eden setting, known to symbolize everlasting life in near eastern rugs.
An exquisite rug ideal for hanging on the wall or displaying on a sofa.
Knot density: 36 knots per square cm.
Dimensions: 94 cm x 62 cm (not including fringes)
Colors: Ivory, orange.
Condition: This rug is in very good condition, it has been well preserved. No stains, no holes.
Age: Vintage, this rug is about 40 years old.
