A magnificent 830 silver cream jug from the early 1800s with a luxurious and detailed design. The quality is exceptional. A piece you don’t see every day. The jug is beautifully made with a spherical pattern around the rim and stands on four leaf-shaped feet. The handle is shaped with a rich floral/rose motif. The design combines elements of Baroque and Rococo, giving it a really exclusive look. Marked on the bottom with 830 and a maker’s mark, along with what appears to be Swedish three crowns and the number 9. The markings are worn but indicate its age and origin. Condition: Lovely condition with light surface wear, light patina, and a few small scratches. There is one small dent next to the front right foot (shown in close-up), but it is not serious. The cream jug stands stable and has a beautiful silver shine. Overall, a wonderful piece in a lovely antique condition.
