Seiko - Laurel - Senza prezzo di riserva - 933085 - Uomo - 1960-1969

Seiko Laurel Manuel winding Unisex Wrist watch For those familiar with the history of Seiko, the Laurel sub-brand arguably holds even greater significance than many others. In fact, it predates the Seiko name itself. Laurel was the name given to the first wristwatch produced by Seikosha in 1913. More than a decade later, in 1924, the shortened name “Seiko” became the official brand name and began appearing on the dial as we know it today. This 1960 variant is one of the finest examples of Seiko minimalism. The dial has been refinished and now features a pink tone, and it contains only two lines of text: the finely executed “Seiko Laurel” signature and the printed “Diashock” beneath it. The applied indices are finished with a downward slope. The hour and minute hands are slim, polished baton-style with fine pointed tips, while the slender, elongated seconds hand nearly reaches the elegant minute track. The case is simple and classic, with a thin bezel and long, sloping lugs. The movement is a 21-jewel manual-wind caliber with a beautifully finished and bridged balance wheel. It remains unpolished and fully original, with service completed in February 2026. After servicing, it keeps excellent time and truly represents a living piece of Seiko history. We have paired it with a brown handmade leather strap for a clean, versatile look that beautifully showcases the case and dial. Service date: 26/02/2026 Case diameter: 31 mm Lug width: 18 mm Condition The watch is good condition.
