This practical guide to identifying paper qualities, production methods, and applications, has contributions from experts like Heinz Fiedler, Dr. Emil Fischer, and Dr. Gustav Hagen.
The set includes as a key feature a collection of 311 actual paper samples (Papiermustersammlung) for hands-on comparison. Half the book features an exhaustive "Papiersortenlexikon" covering varieties like Texoprint-Papier, Ziehkarton, and Frischhaltepapier.
In red hardback boards, with a large number of paper samples etc in large wraparound - volume 3. Each has the details of the paper and the manufacturer printed to them.
Volume one and two include a dictionary of paper making definitions. For products and international terms, the name is also given in English.
Originally issued in 1959, this updated set is in good condition with intact samples.
