A decorative and special vintage jug, known in Gernany as "Kalte Ente" which is the name of a traditional cocktail/punch made with sparkling wine, white wine, lemon etc., and this jug is especially used to make that drink. The jug is made of crystal glass with a metal trim and has inside an inserted glass cylinder for ice cubes to keep the drink cool and fresh without getting it diluted by the water that melts from the ice cubes. The spout has a strainer and prevents fruit or herbs from getting into the glass when pouring. This jug is perfect for enjoying cold drinks outdoors in summer - not just for cocktail/punch, but for flavored water, lemonade and iced tea as well. It is also very beautiful to look at and it would make a lovely accent for a garden party. The jug is generally in good conditions for such a vintage item.
