Very rare original fully functional Pro12 recorder
The PRO 12 is a very high-quality semi-professional tape recorder that was released in 1969.
The tape recorder features 3 motors and 3 heads and was manufactured in various versions.
The numerous connection options and the ability to mix sound make it a versatile recorder.
The recorder was produced as a 2-track recorder with 9.5/19 cm/sec and as a 2-track model with 19/38 cm/sec.
The extremely heavy recorder has only 1 speaker for cueing.
To listen in full stereo, one requires headphones or an amplifier.
The recording and playback of a well-adjusted PRO 12 sounds excellent and the recorder was therefore frequently used by mobile studios.
