Fantastic, large-sized lithographic plate by Von Wright brothers with a corncrake (Crex crex) - a very special bird, that I have not been lucky enough to experience yet, but is in the top three on my want list! The antique prints of Von Wright brothers are fantastic artworks and, in my eyes, some of the greatest antique bird illustrations ever made. The larger size, antique colour, and condition of the paper make this print perfect for framing. The condition is really good, considering it was printed between 1917-1929 (in Stockholm). Please look carefully at the photos to see the condition of the plate. From my private collection.
