Seltenes Set aus zwei religiösen Ex-Voto Votivgaben in Form von Kopfprofilen (Mann und Frau), vermutlich aus dem südeuropäischen Raum (Italien/Spanien).

Die fein gearbeiteten Reliefdarstellungen zeigen stilisierte Gesichter mit ausgeprägter Linienführung und dekorativen Details. Rückseitig mit Aufhängung – typisch für Votivgaben, die als Dank- oder Bittgabe in Kirchen oder Heiligtümern verwendet wurden.

Ein Exemplar ist gestempelt „800“ und somit aus Silber gefertigt, das zweite Stück aus versilbertem Metall.

Solche anatomischen Ex-Votos (hier: Kopf/Gesicht) wurden traditionell zur Bitte um Heilung oder als Dank für erhörte Gebete dargebracht.

These finely crafted relief pieces feature expressive stylized faces with detailed line work. Both items have suspension loops on the back, typical for devotional objects that were hung in churches or shrines.

One piece is hallmarked “800” and made of silver, while the other is made of silver-plated metal.

Anatomical ex-votos such as these were traditionally offered in gratitude or as prayers for healing.
