Issue 1975. Watch mechanism:Class 1. Bakelite, Plastic, Brass. Dimensions: 135.0 mm X 130,0 mm. Perfect visual and technical condition. Note: I wound the watch and watched it for a couple of days. It's running well, but it was a couple of minutes slower in the last three days. Due to the authenticity of the watch, no guarantees. For collection, interior, exposition, decorations, ****** The Molnija clock and watch factory opened on November 17, 1947. The company's main customer was then the Soviet Union Department of Defense, providing them with wristwatches, pocket watches and table clocks. ***** The inscription '1st class' (or simply the number 1) on a table clock, most often of Soviet or early Russian manufacture, indicates the accuracy class of the movement .Here 's what it means:High accuracy: This indicates that the clock was manufactured to strict quality standards and offers high running accuracy (less error in seconds/minutes per day) compared to 2nd- or 3rd-class clocks. Build quality: First-class watches were assembled with greater care, often using higher-quality materials and undergoing manual adjustment at the factory. Classification: In the USSR, there was a clear classification of table, wall, and pocket watches: Class 1 was one step above mass-produced models (Class 2) but below 'higher-class' watches (particularly accurate timepieces).  ******
