This is an authentic late 18th century French pocket watch signed “Romilly à Paris”, dating approximately to c.1760–1780, from the period of the Parisian watchmaker Jean Romilly (1714–1796). Jean Romilly was a respected master watchmaker in Paris and is known for his work alongside leading figures such as Pierre Le Roy and Ferdinand Berthoud.
