This is an authentic late 18th century French pocket watch signed “Romilly à Paris”, dating approximately to c.1760–1780, from the period of the Parisian watchmaker Jean Romilly (1714–1796).
Jean Romilly was a respected master watchmaker in Paris and is known for his work alongside leading figures such as Pierre Le Roy and Ferdinand Berthoud. Watches bearing “Romilly à Paris” are associated with this period of French horology.

The watch is in working condition. The movement runs and the watch winds with a key.
