The Jameson 18 Year Old Limited Reserve is a rare and complex blend of three distinct distillates that have matured for a minimum of 18 years. This expression was created by Master Blender Billy Leighton to showcase the incredible depth and aging potential of traditional Irish pot still whiskey.
The Aging & Finishing
• Triple Distilled: Like all Jameson whiskies, it undergoes triple distillation for signature smoothness.
• Maturation: The components are aged in a combination of hand-selected Oloroso Sherry butts and American Bourbon barrels.
• Marriage: Following the initial aging, the blend is married together and finished in fresh American oak barrels for a final period to add a unique vanilla intensity.
Condition & Presentation
• Status: Unopened bottle in excellent condition.
• Packaging: Presented in its original, premium Limited Reserve wooden or heavy-cardboard presentation box (depending on the specific bottling era).
