La cassa, in oro giallo 18kt, ha forma rettangolare, dimensioni contenute e il trascorrere del tempo è marcato dalle linee minute, longilinee ed essenziali della numerazione romana, qui predilette alle consuete rotondità ben più vistose della numerazione araba.

- Nel contempo, è un oggetto grande valore e raffinata fattura, dati i materiali pregiati con cui è realizzato: l'oro della cassa e il cinturino in pelle di coccodrillo, realizzato a mano in Italia.

Ha inoltre un'interessante caratteristica, che lo rende assai peculiare e celebre: la corona, ovvero la "rotella" per la regolazione dell'ora, è a scomparsa e, anziché trovarsi sul fianco destro della cassa, è adagiata sulla parte posteriore dell'orologio: il fondello.

L'orologio è in ottime condizioni e presenta minimi segni di usura, dovuti al trascorrere del tempo.
È inoltre perfettamente funzionante; la pila è stata rimossa unicamente per questioni di sicurezza e non è dunque presente.
Infine, è corredato della sua pochette in pelle nera.

The Piaget Tank is an iconic dress watch, produced around the 1970s–1980s by the renowned Swiss luxury watchmaker Piaget.

Quickly becoming a classic, the Piaget Tank 70802 combines elegance and simplicity:

The watch features a refined and minimalist design. The 18k yellow gold case has a rectangular shape and compact dimensions, while the passage of time is marked by slender, elongated and essential Roman numerals, preferred here over the more rounded and prominent Arabic numerals.
At the same time, it is an object of great value and fine craftsmanship, thanks to the materials used: the gold case and the crocodile leather strap, handmade in Italy.

By combining the classic Tank style of Cartier with the technical excellence of Piaget’s ultra-thin movements, the Tank 70802 is a watch of undeniable value and charm, now considered a rare luxury piece.

It also features an interesting characteristic that makes it distinctive and well-known: the winding crown is concealed and, instead of being located on the right side of the case, it is positioned on the back of the watch, on the caseback.

The watch is in excellent condition and shows minimal signs of wear, consistent with the passage of time.
It is also fully functional; the battery has been removed solely for safety reasons and is therefore not included.
Finally, it comes with its black leather pouch.
