First unveiled in 1957, the Saarinen Conference Chair - frame ebony is the work of eminent industrial designer and architect Eero Saarinen. The Finnish-American designer was one of the foremost names in the neo-futurism art movement during the twentieth century and remains one of the most celebrated collaborators of Knoll International. Knoll has remained a go-to for premium furniture for decades, with dozens of its products being on permanent display in museums across the world. This enduringly popular chair is incredibly versatile and makes a fine addition to any room.
The Saarinen Conference Chair - frame ebony measures 57 x 80 x 51.5 cm with a generous seat height of 46cm. This chair boasts a solid wood frame in slick black, with soft padding for maximum comfort and a beautifully curved backrest providing plenty of lumbar support.
Finished in an ebonized oak structure and covering in category G "West light gray 03).
The chairs are expensive display and in superb condition.
