I present to you in this auction a vintage tube stereo radio / amplifire from the renowned German manufacturer SABA Villingen Stereo Studio I , model year 1968.
The device is in good external condition considering its age of around 60 years, with minor signs of use, which can be seen in the attached photos.
The original warranty card and the original service manual are included with the device (see photos).
The device has been tested and works fully as a radio with three wavebands, as well as an amplifier.
The distinctive “magic eye” tuning indicator is fully functional (see photo).
All internal components are complete and original, and I have included internal photos to demonstrate this.
The radio presets are also fully functional.
The unit processes stereo signals—whether from FM or via the AUX input—through the well-known SABA stereo decoder module installed inside.
