Offered for auction is a beautiful Caravelle Automatic wristwatch, produced by Caravelle Watch Division – Bulova Watch Company, featuring a Swiss automatic movement with 25 jewels and a striking vintage 1970s design.
Caravelle was introduced by Bulova as a high-quality line offering reliable Swiss mechanical movements combined with attractive modern designs. During the late 1960s and 1970s many Caravelle watches were powered by Swiss automatic movements, making them very desirable among vintage watch collectors today.
This watch is a very characteristic example of that era, featuring a bold cushion-style stainless steel case, a warm sunburst dial, and a classic day-date complication.
The watch is fully original except for the strap, which has been replaced with a high-quality leather strap.
