Both the front and back feature beautifully detailed carvings of phoenixes, symbolizing prosperity and rebirth. The entire vase is finely crafted with intricate decorations, and the three-dimensional reliefs remain in excellent condition. There is very little wear on the phoenix motifs or characteristic patterns. The upper and handle areas are designed with an openwork (mesh-like) pattern, which also remains in good condition. The sculpture is similar to that of Murata Seimin 村田整珉, who was active in the same era. It has a presence and a heavy feel, so we are sure you will be pleased with this vase.
