This is a homogeneous pale white top-carved pendant, in medallion shape. On one side a carved decoration depicting a bat and a gourd fruit with 4 Chinese characters. On the other side fruits such as pomme grenate, finger lemon and peach. Also marked with 4 Chinese characters. Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Provenance: This jade comes from inland China. An excellent and rare piece, very suitable as an addition to your collection or to present as a gift. Please see test results and pictures.
