Kev Munday - Colour Storm - Giclee Print - No Reserve

Colour Storm by Kev Munday Hand signed and numbered print on 210 GSM acid free matte paper. From an edition of 20 50 x 50 CM (20 x 20") Finished with a spot gloss varnish and metallic ink. Sold unframed. About the artwork: Late in 2025 I was commissioned to make a mural for PepsiCo, it was the most I have ever been paid for a painting. I invested the money to create this range of premium, museum quality prints that really do my artwork the justice I think it deserves. I searched the globe to select the best materials available, producing them in strictly limited editions of just 20 hand signed and numbered pieces per artwork. They truly are a collectors item worthy of your walls. The substrate is a beautiful, smooth, 210GSM acid free paper sourced from Germany, this is an important factor that ensures that the artwork won't fade or corrode for decades to come. I've then used a SwissQ printer to produce these stunning editions, the same model used for reproductions by the likes of Tate, MoMA and The National Gallery. The print quality and colour matching is second to none. In my original paintings I use a range of gloss and matte mediums to give depth to the pieces, this is something that I wanted to replicate in my print editions. I've achieved this by applying a spot gloss varnish to elements of these prints. It's hard to show this off to it's full potential in photographs alone, but you will notice that the black lines and hearts have a thick gloss texture that sits raised above the rest of the image, creating a fantastic shine that takes the prints to a new level. Some of the inks also have a metallic finish, again hard to photograph but striking in person. Measuring 500 x 500 mm, the editions are sold unframed, carefully flat packed between layers of double walled cardboard. All orders are sent by a tracked and insured courier service. They are individually hand signed and numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The edition number you are purchasing may differ from that pictured. --- Please note - this item is shipped from the UK. now that the UK have left the EU, import duties will have to be paid by the buyer to the courier company when the item arrives in your country, if you are based in the EU. His street art roots remain integral to his practice today, with spray paint and marker lines infusing his work with raw energy. Whether adorning gallery walls or revitalising public spaces, his art remains accessible and engaging. His work has been exhibited in prestigious institutions such as The Royal Academy of Arts, The Arnolfini and The Hayward Gallery, and he is frequently invited to paint live at international art fairs and events, including The Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam and London Fashion Week.
