"Martin Rodriguez Rio, nato in Argentina e residente a Barcellona dal 2016, si è dedicato interamente all’arte dal 2008. Martín Rodríguez Río, originario dell’Argentina, trascorse l’infanzia in campagna, immerso in un mondo a parte dove si immaginava Tarzan, un gladiatore romano, Robin Hood o uno sceriffo. The meeting in Spain with Juan Giménez, the master of science fiction art, to whom he became close, was decisive and oriented Martin Rodríguez´s horizons towards the world of fantastic characters and superheroes. Martin Rodriguez became a close collaborator of Giménez in the creation of large format illustrations, but also his official restorer. From this collaboration, Martin Rodriguez transmits his knowledge of animal painting to Giménez. After the death of Juan Giménez, Martin Rodriguez begins to create fantasy, superheroes, through a unique production of oil paintings, production of exceptional quality that had already made him recognized as an artist of international renown.
