Descrizione del venditore
The collaboration between photographer Bruno Paolo Benedetti and abstract painter Barbara Stamegna gives life to a unique artistic dialogue where photography and painting merge into a new visual language.
Through the fusion of Bruno Paolo Benedetti’s photographic vision and Barbara Stamegna’s expressive abstract painting, the works transcend the boundaries of their individual disciplines, creating compositions that are both emotional and immersive. Photography captures reality, while painting transforms it into sensation, movement, and energy.
Their artworks invite the viewer to explore a new perspective in which texture, color, and form interact in continuous transformation. The result is a collection of contemporary pieces that balance structure and spontaneity, combining the precision of the photographic image with the freedom and intensity of abstract art.
Each collaboration becomes a visual journey where the identities of both artists remain recognizable while evolving into a shared creative dimension, rich in atmosphere, depth, and interpretation.
Barbara S Stamegna is a contemporary Roman artist and Knight of Culture, recognized
with important national and international awards. She has exhibited in prestigious venues
in Italy, including the renowned Via Margutta in Rome, and internationally, participating
several times in Artexpo New York. Her works are part of public and private collections in
the United States and Europe. Her artistic research is deeply connected with inner
exploration, spirituality, and the symbolic power of light.
Bruno Paolo Benedetti, born in the year 1954, began to take pictures, studying perspective and photo techniques, in the year 1968. Since the begin he was concerned with black and white photography, observing the contrast s of the nature, the lights and interpreting the reality around him. When he was 25 he began to work in the dark room, enhancing his technique using filters, high contrast films for making his first pictures of surreal and abstract photography. At the same time he began journeying around Europe and the world: India, Nepal, Bhutan, Southern America, South Africa, Egypt, Comoros islands are some of the most visited places. The study of the religions, the mysticism in all of them, inspired his artistic production, especially his surreal photography, where cultural and religious archetypes are depicted.
