Descrizione del venditore

“Amber Kristall” Vase – 100% Handcrafted Bohemian Hot-Worked Crystal from Nový Bor

This majestic vase, crafted from heavy Bohemian crystal in a warm amber tone, is a testament to the mastery of traditional Czech glassmaking. Shaped by hand directly from molten glass using a blowpipe, its elegant, flowing surface structure and solid clear base give it both grace and weight. With an approximate weight of 3 kg, it stands as much as a sculptural object as it does a decorative one.

Each piece was individually handmade at the legendary Czech glassworks Egermann, once part of the renowned development center EX BOR in Nový Bor. The glassworks proudly bore the name of Fridrich Egermann (1777–1864), an innovator of decorative techniques including the iconic Egermann’s Overlay (Lasur). For generations, this workshop shaped the reputation of Czech glass around the world.

The vase is completely unused, stored in its original box from the glassworks, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is an original, collectible piece of historical value.

The Egermann glassworks, in its traditional Czech form, has unfortunately ceased operations. This vase belongs to the final generation of authentic, original pieces — created at a time when Czech hot-worked glass was still made using time-honored techniques in the heart of Bohemia.

True Czech glass artistry – a substantial, certified piece with heritage and soul.
