A fine 19th century pocket set comprising a barometer, a thermometer and a compass, the case measuring circa 9cm in height and weighing a gross 161g. The barometer has an adjustable rotating bezel to compensate for altitude / elevation. Not marked with manufacturer´s mark but the barometer and its case bear remarkable resemblance to similar objects manufactured by 'Callagahan & Co, London, circa 1870. Condition: Overall good. The compass with lanyard ring missing and dust inside the case, no other significant defects or repairs. See pictures for an overall impression. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
