ACCA VF+, Three Kingdoms Period - Shu Han, Taiping Bai Jin, Zhuan Script, Rare Shu Han was a dynasty during China’s Three Kingdoms period, a time of war, turmoil, and frequent changes in national power. The quality of the coins was generally poor, and Shu Han coins in particular are rarer, with few discoveries. According to records, some were found in Chengdu, Sichuan, and Xinjiang in the 1980s and 2010s. The Taiping Bai Qian and Taiping Bai Jin coin systems had two types of inscriptions: Seal Script and Clerical Script. One type has a wavy pattern on the reverse and a star dot at the top of the central hole; it was produced around the time after the Zhi Bai Wu Zhu coins. The manufacturing was relatively rough, yet the reverse design still features the star and water wave motifs, making it a very rare ancient coin. This particular coin is an extremely rare form of such ancient currency. The Three Kingdoms was a highly regarded period of warfare in Chinese history, with numerous heroes and outstanding figures. Coins from this era are few, and those that remain in good preservation are even rarer.
