Up for auction is a rare and prestigious Junghans Mega, a pioneer in radio-controlled timekeeping. This is a limited and numbered edition (No. 2157). The case is crafted from solid 14K yellow gold (hallmarked 585 on the back case).
Material & Weight (Full Transparency):
Case Material: Solid 14K Gold (585).
Scale Weight: 56.18 grams.
Important Weight Disclaimer: This weight represents the empty gold case, the back cover, and the leather strap ONLY (the movement was removed during weighing, only the adjustment buttons remained on the case).
Gold Content Estimate: Since the strap contains the original integrated antenna and was not detached to prevent damage, the net gold weight is estimated to be between 25 and 30 grams.
