Zeeuwse kast - Armadietto - quercia, ebano e palissandro

Armadio Zeeland dall’aspetto imponente e raffinato con quattro porte.
Circa 1650.

In quel periodo Zeeland, insieme al resto dell’Olanda, era il paese più ricco al mondo grazie alla navigazione e al commercio che ne derivavano. Poiché la Chiesa Cattolica Romana non deteneva più potere e la chiesa e il re non erano più i detentori del potere dominante, ma la classe media teneva le redini, il denaro fu distribuito in modo migliore affinché l’intero paese potesse beneficiare – questo sistema rese possibile che i Paesi Bassi diventassero così ricchi.
Il denaro troppo raccolto in un unico cumulo è meno efficace.

Questa ricchezza si manifesta pienamente in questo mobile.
Un armadio ricco e incredibilmente bello, interamente realizzato secondo la tradizione zeelandese.
Le proporzioni sono tipiche, più largo che alto.
Anche le ante superiori, sia le strette che le larghe, sono tipicamente Zeelandesi.
Belle pannellature corniche con bei giunti rinascimentali – con incavi di ebano nero nelle ante. Inoltre un ornamento sporgente in palissandro.
Bei pilastri robusti fiancheggiano le ante – con splendide scolpiture a scaglie ben in rilievo, molto ordinate e regolari.
Le porte inferiori hanno al centro pannelli cornici con ebano combinati e un notevole ottagono in profilo rigato, con molto ebano vero a contrasto.
Rinascimentale tipico, che divenne popolare in Olanda e Zeeland nel XVII secolo.

Tre splendide teste di leone finemente scolpite fiancheggiano le ante superiori.
Sotto, tre pilastri con al centro una testa femminile e accanto due teste maschili.
Tutti i dettagli sono realizzati con cura e grande perizia.
Al centro una cassetta nascosta che percorre l’intera larghezza. vedi foto dettaglio.
Il pomello è un ornamento nascosto.

Anche originali e antichi sono i piedi – colonne laterali che proseguono fino a terra.
Questo è precedente ai piedini a bulbo.

Non spedisco in paesi extra-UE.
Gli acquirenti di quei paesi devono organizzare autonomamente il trasporto tramite un vettore a loro scelta.

At this time, Zeeland, along with the rest of Holland, was the richest country in the world thanks to the shipping and trade it generated. A rich and exceptionally beautiful cabinet made entirely in the Zeeland tradition.
The proportions are characteristic, wider than it is tall.

The narrow and wide doors at the top are also typically Zeelandic.
Beautiful cornice panels with beautiful Renaissance miters – with inlaid black ebony
in the doors. In the hood below the cornice, a quarter-round profile with groaning, those teardrop-shaped figures. This is a typical feature of the Italian Renaissance, which became popular in Holland and Zeeland in the 17th century.

Three beautifully carved lion heads flank the doors above.
Below are three pilasters, with a woman’s head in the center and two men’s heads next to her.
All the details are meticulously crafted.
In the center is a hidden drawer spanning the entire width.
