AKAI DX-57 compact cassette deck with off-tape monitoring (3 heads) and dual-capstan drive.
Anyone looking for a robust, very well-equipped, and technically advanced deck will find exactly what they need here. The DX-57 is essentially identical to the GX-67 (the heads on this deck are made of durable glass ferrite). The DX-57 uses the highly reliable Permalloy heads, which are also very durable.
The drive system has been overhauled/serviced, new belts installed, and thoroughly cleaned. The deck is in perfect working order. Please refer to the original photos for its appearance.
The cassette player is in perfect technical and aesthetic condition.
It is a true treasure for collectors.
