Beautiful polished piece of genuine Burmese amber (Burmite) from Myanmar, dating back to the Mid-Cretaceous, approximately 99 million years old.
This remarkable specimen contains several fossil inclusions, including several well-preserved beetles (Order Coleoptera) embedded within the amber matrix. Additional botanical remains, organic debris and plant fragments are also present, offering a fascinating glimpse into an ancient Cretaceous forest ecosystem.
The amber exhibits an attractive golden honey colour and good transparency, allowing detailed observation of the inclusions.
