This is a traditional Japanese Sabaki knife handcrafted in the renowned blade-making region of Tosa (Kochi, Japan).

Forged using Aogami #1 (Blue Paper Steel No.1), this knife offers exceptional sharpness and edge retention, making it ideal for precise fish processing such as filleting and butchering.

The blade features a distinctive kurouchi (black-forged) finish, which not only reflects its traditional manufacturing process but also helps protect the blade from rust.
