"Les Murmures" begins behind her, in the space she has already left, where three mouths lean toward each other and words travel the shortest possible distance between shock and delight. She does not hear them. Or perhaps she does, and the hearing changes nothing. There is a kind of freedom that only becomes visible when it meets its opposite, and hers is measured exactly by the distance between her bare feet on wet cobblestones and the gloved hands rising to scandalised lips at a café table she passed without slowing. The city stretches ahead of her, grey and indifferent and beautiful, and she walks into it the way one walks into rain when the decision has already been made and the umbrella has already been left behind. The peignoir follows her like a rumour, translucent and weightless, offering nothing and concealing less. Whatever the women behind her are whispering, it will not change her direction, her pace, or the particular angle at which the hat brim cuts the morning light across her collarbones. The murmurs belong to them. The boulevard belongs to her. The artwork explores themes such as feminine audacity without provocation, the weight of social judgement against the lightness of self-possession, the body as a declaration rather than an invitation, the quiet violence of whispered opinion, and the freedom that begins where the need for approval ends. T. Pimenta is a Portuguese artist whose commitment to creating visually striking artworks seeks to develop pieces capable of establishing visual presence and emotional connection with viewers and collectors. The creative process begins with an initial conceptual construction, where the central narrative and emotional direction of the composition are defined. Subsequently, the artistic vision is developed through Adobe tools, digital construction processes and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), adding depth, texture, light and structural refinement. His approach combines traditional artistic sensibilities with contemporary digital techniques, allowing the exploration of different visual languages and the continuous expansion of creative possibilities. Each artwork additionally receives a manual finishing intervention through an individual hand-applied artistic varnishing process, designed to reinforce luminosity, visual depth and material presence. Authentication: Signature: Each example is hand-signed by the artist, T. Pimenta, on the reverse, with its respective edition number. Certificate of Authenticity: Accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity (COA), confirming the authenticity and originality of the artwork. The certificate may be provided to the auction winner in physical or digital format, upon request. Exclusivity: Edition: Limited to 20 individually numbered examples. Worldwide shipping available. Each artwork is carefully packed in a rigid protective tube with tracking and secure shipping conditions. Special attention is given to packaging to ensure every piece arrives safely and in optimal condition for collectors.
