Cartier - 'Pasha C' - GMT - Never Worn - Full Set - Ref. No. 2377 - Unisex - 2000-2010

Welcome to my Top Swiss Chronographs Boutique! Founded by Louis-François Cartier in Paris in 1847, this name is icon of haute style forewer. Cartier is regarded as one of most prestigious jewellery manufacturers worldwide. In 2018, it is ranked by Forbes as the world's 59th most valuable brand. Cartier has proud, long history of sales to royalty; the watchmaker has perhaps the most enviable historical claim of any watch brand: purveyor of the first men’s wristwatch, the Cartier Santos, in 1911. Sure, Rolex and others have some notable technological innovations, but Cartier started it all. According to lore, Thami El Glaoui, the Pasha of Marrakesh, needed an active watch. He wanted a timepiece that was tough enough to wear while swimming, but elegant enough to match his royal duties. In response, Louis Cartier created a special waterproof watch in 1932.While a few custom pieces were made in the 1930s, the official "Pasha de Cartier" collection as we know it today was launched for the public in 1985. Renowned designer Gérald Genta (who also designed the famous Audemars Piguet Royal Oak) styled the 1985 version, making it a bold, oversized status symbol. The Pasha has a very unique look compared to other Cartier watches: - large, round, and flat case - Crown Cap: the winding crown (the knob used to set the time) is sealed with a cap to keep water out, and it is attached to the watch case by a tiny, elegant chain. - dial details: it features a "Vendôme" style case with four distinctive square links (or lugs) where the band attaches to the watch. - early versions also had a metal grid you could clip over the glass. The Cartier Pasha 2377 is one of the more interesting modern Pasha references and, in my opinion, one of the best value GMT watches Cartier has produced: - Distinctive "globe" guilloché dial. - Blued sword hands. - Reliable ETA-based GMT movement that's inexpensive to service compared with many in-house calibres. - Classic Pasha design with the signature chained crown cap. - Considerably rarer than standard Pasha C models. Owners generally praise it as an overlooked Cartier with excellent everyday wearability and unique styling. Movement: - self-winding Cartier Cal.048 T caliber - based on the ETA 2893-2 - 21 jewels - 42 hours power-reserve - frequency: 28.800 A/h, 4 Hz Case: - 316L stainless steel - fine-brushed/polished - width: 35,5mm excl. crown, 40,5mm incl. - length: 42mm lug to lug - 9,4mm thick - unique number: 46****CD (for buyer only), best proof of authenticity Bezel: - 316L stainless steel - polished - unidirectional turning - multilayer - marking 0 - 24 hours for GMT Crystal: - flat sapphire - anti-reflective Case-back: - 316L stainless steel - brushed with engravings Crown: - pull/push - screw down crown cover Dial: - snow silver - date at 04:300 o'clock - polished baton hour markers - black Arabic quarters - black outer minute divisions with luminous dot 5 minute markers, - blued steel dagger hands with luminous inserts - centre seconds - dual time zone hand - minute markers around the outer rim - dial in the form of a stylized globe with parallels and meridians Bracelet: - authentic Cartier - 316L stainless steel - brushed - length: ca. 15cm incl. wristwatch itself - nfortunately, the store shortened the bracelet so that the watch would fit comfortably on the stand in the display case - width: 18mm Clasp: - 316L stainless steel - double-folding "butterfly" - Cartier logo Weight: 102 grams Water-resistant: 100meters/10ATM/330 feet Extremely high recognition level. Very distinctive design. Cartier red watch box with books/docs. Distributor's stock: the card isn't stamped (see pics). For watches older than two years, “original warranty” means that the warranty card is included. Excellent condition, never worn: the wristwatch comes from luxury watch-shop showcase. General professional pre-sale check was made in July 2026: the watch is keeping good time and working perfectly. My personal authenticity and quality warranty: you will get warranty card (as pictured), fully completed, stamped and signed. Insured, registered shipping worldwide with DHL Express: it’s not cheap, and yet fast and reliable, two days in Europe, three days for the rest of this world. What you see is what you get. These are my own photos of the actual watch up for auction. NO EXTRA COSTS for EU Buyers! Please note again that the bracelet is short. I believe that, if needed, you can always order a couple of extra links from Cartier. However, I will not accept returns if the bracelet is too short.
