Very rare vignette series from the publisher C. Weiler Stuttgart, for the first endurance voyage of the Zeppelin airship in 1908, where the airship, after completing the voyage, caught fire during a thunderstorm and was destroyed. The vignettes are partially separated and then joined together with a fold. As a complete set, almost never obtainable. The series was issued shortly after the disaster to raise money for a new airship for Graf Zeppelin.
