Stai facendo un’offerta per un vaso artistico in vetro soffiato a mano, della celebre serie Swirl, progettato da Josef Hospodka per Chřibská Glassworks, Cecoslovacchia, negli anni '60.

Caratterizzato dalla sua forma a spirale distintiva e dal vetro sommerso pesante, il vaso presenta un nucleo delicato racchiuso in cristallo chiaro spesso, creando notevoli profondità ed effetti di luce.
Una delle design mid-century modern più riconoscibili di Hospodka, riflette perfettamente l’innovazione e l’abilità artigianale del vetro boemo durante la sua era d’oro.
Questo vaso riflette il dialogo artistico tra le tradizioni vetrarie boema e veneziane mentre mantiene lo stile scultoreo distintivo per cui Josef Hospodka divenne rinomato.

SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS:
Fondata nel 1414, Chřibská Glassworks è una delle più antiche fornaci di vetro in Europa. Divenne rinomata a livello internazionale negli anni ’50 e ’60 per il suo vetro d’arte soffiato a mano innovativo ed è considerata una delle principali firme nel design boemo mid-century modern.

Josef Hospodka (1923–1989) è stato uno dei designer del vetro ceco più influenti del XX secolo. Meglio conosciuto per il suo lavoro presso Chřibská Glassworks, ha creato design scultorei espressivi con forme organiche fluide e colori vivaci, ora molto ricercati dai collezionisti.

* I would like to point out that the items I am selling are several decades old and therefore show general signs of use and age, such as minor scratches, scuffs, discoloration, dust, patina, chips, dents etc.

The vase will be properly prepared for the shipping ( mainly recycled materials ) and sent insured ( up to 500€ ).

If, however, the item is damaged or lost, please contact me via the internal Catawiki chat.
According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation.
In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment.
