Corné Nuham - Under pressure - Yield
Under Pressure is a series of unique steel sculptures created from fully welded cubes transformed under controlled pressure. Rather than imposing a predetermined shape, the process becomes an interaction between the artist's intention and the natural behaviour of steel. Each sculpture emerges from that encounter, making every piece impossible to reproduce.
Yield captures the moment when resistance gives way to transformation. Rather than breaking, the steel embraces a new geometry, revealing that strength is not always found in opposition, but also in the capacity to adapt. The traces of pressure remain visible, preserving the memory of that transformation within the form.
Handcrafted from welded steel and finished with an industrial coating, this sculpture is a unique, one-of-a-kind original by Corné Nuham.
The sculpture is signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. It will be professionally and carefully packed for safe international shipping.
