Shinanoya is not only a renowned Japanese bottler but also runs a Whisky shop in Tokyo's posh Ginza district that is known throughout Japan. In 2017, the company commissioned Highland distillery Wolfburn to bottle two types of Whisky for the Japanese market. This is the first private bottling, a Wolfburn from quarter cask #791, which was distilled in December 2013 and bottled in September 2017 at cask strength. Only 183 bottles were released, this is bottle no 107.
