This is a Mexican 50-cent free-hat silver coin minted by Mexico City Mint (factory mark M) in 1943. It was professionally appraised and packaged by NGC, an international authoritative coin rating agency, and was rated as MS65, which is an old silver coin with modern Latin American classic mechanism.
Back (face value display surface)
The main vision of the coin face is the large number "50", and the English face value "CENTAVOS" and the casting year 1943 are marked below; Above is Mexico's iconic free bonnet, with radial sunlight patterns, surrounded by oak leaves and laurel branches on both sides. The mint logo M is hidden in the pattern, and the original silver patina on the coin surface is moist, with complete and sharp pattern details and no circulation wear marks.
Front (eagle face of national emblem)
The main body follows the classic pattern of the Mexican national emblem: the eagle stands cactus with a snake in its mouth, the outer ring surrounds the western word "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS", and the side is marked with "0.720" to indicate the standard of 72% silver. The national emblem wings, snake body, branches and leaves are clear and full, and the bottom plate is flat without scratches and bumps.
