A beautiful set of two vintage "Salong" vases, designed by Swedish designer Johanna Jelinek for IKEA. These iconic vases date from the late 1990s or early 2000s and have become highly sought-after collector's items within the Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian design communities. The vases are made from heavy, mouth-blown opaline / white milk glass, which gives them a beautiful, smooth, glossy finish and a minimalist look. The organic, teardrop-shaped silhouettes with slender necks create an elegant and timeless aesthetic when paired together. Small Vase: 23cm. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or deep scratches. Large Vase: 31cm. Features a small chip on the rim/mouth of the vase (please see the detailed close-up photos). Aside from this, the body of the vase is in great condition. Both vases uniquely retain their original, authentic designer stickers on the neck.
