Elegant Scandinavian hand-cut crystal decanter with its original crystal stopper and 830 silver mount, dating from the first half of the 20th century.
The generously proportioned rounded body is richly decorated with deep star-cut patterns, while the original stopper features matching star-cut decoration and a beautifully shaped scalloped rim. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptional stopper, whose size and design are perfectly balanced with the substantial body of the decanter. This remarkable harmony of proportions is rarely encountered among comparable examples and gives the piece a distinctive and memorable appearance.
The crystal remains bright and clear, displaying a beautiful play of light. The decanter is preserved in excellent condition, free from cracks, chips or repairs. The silver mount shows only a light age-related patina.
