Magnificent “Bird on Twig” sculpture, part of Animal Collection made by Herend - Hungary, in excellent condition.
This magnificent porcelain sculpture is hand painted in vivid naturalistic colors and depicts a little bird (passerine) resting on a twig of blossomed cherry flowers.
Mainly painted in brown color with blue, the bird have a blue eyes and assorted blue feathers on wings and tail. It stands as example of the great skills of Herend artists.
It is in excellent more to pristine condition, marked with Herend blue shield mark of the period and numbered #5120, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
