Corum - Admiral's Cup - Senza prezzo di riserva - Donna - 1990-1999

--- Introduction --- Few designs in Swiss watchmaking are as instantly recognisable as the Corum Admiral's Cup. Conceived in homage to the legendary offshore regatta of the same name, it wears its maritime heritage openly: a twelve-sided bezel echoing the twelve hours, and a dial punctuated by the coloured pennants of the international maritime signal code in place of conventional indices. This is the ladies' interpretation in bi-colour, its warm gold-plated twelve-sided bezel framing a soft cream dial, mounted on the matching gold and steel bracelet with folding clasp. Offered here as a genuine pre-owned example with the honest patina of a watch that has been worn and enjoyed. Please read the condition report below in full before bidding, as this piece has a specific dial fault. --- Specifications --- Brand: Corum Series: Admiral's Cup Reference: Not indicated; the case back carries no reference or serial engraving Movement: Quartz Case Material: Gold-plated and stainless steel (bi-colour) Crystal: Mineral glass Dial: Cream, with applied international maritime signal pennants as hour markers and a red printed minute track Case Back: Plain snap-on stainless steel, unsigned and unengraved Bracelet: Bi-colour gold-plated and stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp, signed CORUM Period: 1990-1999 Country of Origin: Switzerland --- Condition Report --- Overall: Good, pre-owned condition consistent with age and wear, with one significant dial fault described below. Sold as a pre-owned timepiece; a full service and a fresh battery are recommended before regular use. Case & Bezel: Light surface scratches and scuffing across the polished and brushed surfaces. The gold-coloured elements are gold-plated, and the plating shows wear with brassing, most noticeably around the edge of the case back where a warm copper tone has come through. Dial & Crystal: Please note that the dial is not firmly secured inside the case and moves slightly; pulling out the crown produces a small amount of movement in the dial. The dial surface itself is clean and even, with crisp printing. Refitting of the dial by a qualified watchmaker should be budgeted for. The crystal shows hairlines and light scratches. Bracelet & Clasp: Signed bi-colour bracelet, complete and closing securely. Surface scratches and stretch between the links commensurate with wear, with plating wear on the gold-coloured sections. Functions: Time only, with central seconds. Please note the dial fault described above: the dial is not firmly secured and moves slightly when the crown is pulled out. This is a pre-existing condition of this lot and is reflected in the estimate, so please bid accordingly. No box, papers or warranty documentation accompany this lot. --- International Shipping & Customs --- The watch is dispatched from Japan with full tracking, carefully packed for international transit. Please note that any import duties, customs charges, VAT or handling fees levied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the purchase price or the shipping cost. We kindly ask buyers to familiarise themselves with the import regulations applicable in their own country before bidding.
