anatoliano Bronzo Arrowhead Group (8) (Senza prezzo di riserva)
A group of eight Anatolian arrowheads, with four being trilobate and the other four bilobate. Six of the arrowheads feature a socket, used to attach the wooden shaft of the arrow. The remaining two have a solid tang instead. One of the tanged arrowheads display sharp barbs. Patination and earthly encrustations to the surface as well as inside the sockets. Chips to the blades and barbs.
Arrowheads of these types have been recovered across all the Anatolian and North Euphrates region. Anatolia, also known in antiquity as Asia Minor, was located in the Anatolian Peninsula. It is one of the first regions to have boasted bronze production. The Iron Age of Anatolia marked the rise of classical civilisation, when Syro-Hittite culture rose and took over the former Hittite Empire.
