Descrizione del venditore

Official Collectible Issue: Mongolia – CHINGGIS KHAAN Silver Proof

This exceptional edition is entirely dedicated to the extraordinary figure of the legendary ruler Chinggis Khaan. He is depicted seated on his throne in a powerful and commanding pose, rendered with meticulous attention to detail.

His posture, the carefully reproduced folds of his garments, and the rich ornamentation of the throne demonstrate the highest level of precision in modern high-relief minting.

The design is based on a monumental statue of Chinggis Khaan measuring an impressive 700 × 630 × 750 cm. The statue depicts Chinggis Khaan in his youth in 1189, at the beginning of the rise of the great Mongol Empire, dressed entirely in Mongolian gold.

The imperial throne bears the empire's golden seal and rests upon a multi-tiered pedestal made of marble, bronze, and gold, with a design inspired by the sacred mountain Burkhan Khaldun. The three-tiered base symbolizes the past, present, and future.

The depiction is complemented by a tiger skin, symbolizing victory, and a white felt carpet representing the enduring power of the state. This extraordinary work of art was ceremonially unveiled on March 1, 2025.

Radiating sun rays spread across the background of the coin, symbolizing both power and enlightenment. The surrounding landscape enhances the majestic composition by depicting the mountains and plains that once formed part of Chinggis Khaan's empire.

The obverse features a majestic eagle, the classic hunting bird of Mongolian culture. In Mongolia, the eagle symbolizes strength, courage, freedom, and cultural heritage. Particularly in western Mongolia, this symbolism is embodied by the centuries-old tradition of capturing and hunting with golden eagles — a bond between humans and animals built on respect, symbiosis, and a deep spiritual connection with nature.

The coin combines this iconic image with a vast Mongolian steppe landscape, rendered in fine relief in the background and placing the eagle within its natural environment.

A particular highlight is the radially arranged guilloché pattern harmoniously surrounding the emblem of the Central Bank of Mongolia. A finely polished surface finish creates an impressive brilliance, with the rays of the sun appearing to emerge from the center and giving the scene an almost sacred radiance.

The coin is issued in three different versions:

1 oz Silver: Mintage of 2,026 pieces
1 oz Gold: Mintage of 100 pieces
0.5 g Gold: Mintage of 2,026 pieces
