Head Cooper Don Ramsay was an important part of Glenfiddich history - and as such he was the first ever employee to have had a limited edition whisky named after him. Having started working at the distillery on Christmas Day 1961, Ramsay made more than 200,000 casks for the distillery during his 50-year career at Glenfiddich, meaning that if you're a fan of the distillery's whisky, you've almost certainly drunk some from a cask which Ramsay created. When he retired, on Christmas Day 2011, Ramsay was presented with a miniature cask along with a coffee table made from staves - ensuring he always had a piece of the distillery with him.

This limited edition whisky was released in 2004 and 225 American oak casks went into it. The resulting single malt has notes of smooth vanilla, caramel, and a gentle spiciness, followed by a long finish.
