Mid-century table lamp – perforated cream shade A compact mid-century table lamp with a black-lacquered steel frame, an adjustable brass joint and a cream-painted conical metal shade. A row of decorative perforations follows the shade’s lower edge, while the open looped base gives the lamp a light, graphic silhouette. The shade can be tilted to direct the light. Fitted with a textile-covered cable and an inline switch. The manufacturer and designer have not been identified. The lamp is believed to date from the 1950s or 1960s and is possibly of Swedish origin, based on its construction, materials and design. Condition The shade and base have been reconditioned. Newly rewired with a textile-covered cable and inline switch.
